Il sergente Tommy Saunders è un bravo poliziotto, ma troppo irascibile e veemente. Per scontare una punizione disciplinare per aver dato un calcio ad un collega, è stato temporaneamente degradato e viene destinato all'arrivo della maratona di Boston.

Towards the end of the film, a post face-lift 2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Ford Explorer) is seen. The Boston Bombing took place several years before the updated Police SUV was released. <br>------------------------<br><br>A police officer is seen talking on an iPhone 5s. The Boston Marathon bombing occurred on April 15, 2013, 5 months before the iPhone 5s was released. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Dzhokhar is first shown putting one of the pressure cooker bombs into his backpack, a boom mic is reflected in the lid. <br>------------------------<br><br>At the end 1:56:18 three FBI agents (in camouflage) approached the boat but scene changes to a Boston Police officer (in black) who pulls the guy down. <br>------------------------<br><br>Towards the end of the movie, when the police apprehends Tsarnaev and take him out of the boat, the officer lifting him on his shoulder and slamming him down isn't the same that picks him up out of the boat and slams him down. The sequence is like this: FBI Agent - Boston PD SWAT - FBI Agent. <br>------------------------<br><br>In scenes of the crowd at the finish line prior to the bombing, you can clearly see a couple of people in the crowd wearing their 2016 Boston Marathon jackets. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Dzhokhar gets pulled out of the boat, he is thrown on the ground. The shot from above sees him falling on straw/grass bedding, but the shot from the side show only dirt. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Dzhokhar is surrendering at the boat, a step ladder that leans against the boat appears horizontal and then vertical as the cuts between news footage and film footage occur. <br>------------------------<br><br>After returning home the morning after the bombing, Saunders is slipping into the bathtub when he receives a call to return to the investigation headquarters. He dresses in uniform and, during a close up, is seen to be wearing a bloody undershirt. Unless the character is intended to be said to own only one undershirt, this is an editing problem. <br>------------------------<br><br>During the hallway conversation between Li and Officer Sean Collier, an extra can be seen walking right behind Li, who practically blocks the whole way. But in the next close-up shot, no one passes behind the girl. <br>------------------------<br><br>David Ortiz's sunglasses change from blue to golden. <br>------------------------<br><br>At about 14:00 Tommy's supervisor informs him that he will be stationed at the finish line to which he acts surprised, but in the previous scene he had already told his wife he would be at the finish line "with all the VIPs and they will be breaking my balls." <br>------------------------<br><br>When the MIT police officer goes home at the start of the movie, his roommates are playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 on Meltdown. He calls for his friend to "flank the barn", there is no "barn" on Meltdown. <br>------------------------<br><br>The Asian guy FaceTimeing in front of the black Mercedes is using an iPhone 5S which wasn't released until September 2013, 5 months later, when an iPhone 5 would have been used instead. Noticeable difference is the iPhone 5S, as seen in the movie, has the Touch ID fingerprint reader instead of the regular home button as on iPhone 5's and older. <br>------------------------<br><br>Banner sign on gas station shows price as $3.19 (or similar) but GasBuddy history for MA and Boston shows April 2013 prices as being at least $3.40+. <br>------------------------<br><br>The first Boston Marathon bomb was set off at 2:49:43, on the race clock at the finish line read 04:09:43. However in the movie, when the first bomb was set off, the clock at the finish line read 02:59:30. meaning they put the time of day which it happened (which was also wrong) but it should have showed the race time. which is 04:09:43. (seen in the trailer.) <br>------------------------<br><br>A crying officer describes a sequence of events for the MIT officer shooting saying the shooters wanted to take his gun, but he wouldn't give it up and they shot him. There were no eyewitnesses to the events, least of all him. There is no way he would have known there was a struggle for the officer's gun. <br>------------------------<br><br>Towards the film's end, when Dzhokhar is surrendering, the officer slamming him to the ground goes from FBI HRT to Boston SWAT back to FBI HRT (literally while Dzhokhar is in mid air). <br>------------------------<br><br>
