Il leggendario sicario John Wick è finalmente riuscito a concludere la sua sanguinosa missione vendicativa nei confronti dei Tarasov, riprendendosi la sua macchina e tornando a casa, pronto a godersi la pensione in pace. Ciò che lo lega ancora al suo passato però è un pegno, un debito sigillato col sangue con un boss della Camorra, Santino D'Antonio, che, avendo saputo del ritorno del killer a cui aveva concesso di ritirarsi dal sotto-mondo della malavita, è venuto a riscuotere e a chiedere di saldarlo. Santino gli commissiona l'omicidio della sorella Gianna per assicurarsi di ereditare il suo posto al tavolo della malavita globale, prendendo così il controllo della Camorra stessa. Inizialmente John rifiuta di saldare il debito, perciò il boss mafioso gli fa esplodere la casa. Senza più un posto dove stare, John torna all'hotel Continental di New York per lasciare il suo nuovo cane in un posto sicuro e farsi aiutare dal direttore, Winston, a rintracciare Santino, il quale, una volta incontrato, gli fa capire di non avere alternative e quindi di dover saldare il debito uccidendo Gianna D'Antonio.<br>John si reca quindi a Roma per assassinare la boss camorrista, che sta per festeggiare la sua ascesa alla tavola alta del crimine. John pianifica l'assassinio, equipaggiandosi a dovere presso il Continental di Roma, e durante la festa raggiunge Gianna, la quale, capendo di essere spacciata, si toglie la vita. La sua guardia del corpo, Cassian, sorprende John poco dopo l'assassinio e da l'allarme. Il killer riesce ad eliminare gli uomini armati e a fuggire, ma i sicari di Santino, capeggiati dalla muta Ares, tentano di ucciderlo. John riesce ad eliminarli e a fuggire, ma Cassian lo rintraccia e lo assale, dando luogo a un feroce combattimento finché i due finiscono nel territorio del Continental dove, per legge, non si può spargere sangue. John lascia Roma, ma al contempo Santino mette una taglia di sette milioni di dollari sulla sua testa, volendolo morto per "vendicare la sorella" ed evitare che alla tavola alta lo accusino di tale crimine. I cacciatori di taglie e i killer del sotto-mondo a New York tentano così di assassinare John, che però resiste eliminandoli uno dopo l'altro, finché non è costretto a confrontarsi con Cassian, che viene a sua volta neutralizzato. Avendo saldato il debito, John ora può eliminare Santino per aver cercato di ucciderlo.<br>Ferito e provato dai vari scontri avuti con killer e cacciatori di taglie, John chiede aiuto ai senzatetto di New York, capeggiati dal sovrano di Bowery, che rinuncia a consegnare il killer a Santino e ad intascarsi i sette milioni della taglia, aiutando anzi John a trovare il mafioso, dandogli un'arma e ricordandogli che è in debito con lui. John raggiunge Santino ed elimina le sue guardie. Dopo aver ucciso Ares, John insegue il boss mafioso fino all'hotel Continental di New York. Il direttore Winston ricorda a John che la legge gli impedisce di spargere sangue sul suolo del Continental, ma il killer elimina comunque Santino. Winston gli riferisce che, a seguito dell'uccisione perpetrata all'interno dell'albergo, è obbligato a scomunicarlo dalla casta dei sicari e a condannarlo a morte. Inoltre, ora che John ha ucciso un membro della tavola alta, tutti gli altri affiliati (ovvero i capi mondiali della malavita) gli daranno la caccia per togliergli la vita. John si mette dunque in fuga per scappare da chiunque lo voglia morto, non potendo più fidarsi di nessuno attorno a lui, dato che, con validità in tutto il mondo, è stata posta una sostanziosa taglia sulla sua testa, raddoppiata rispetto a quella originale decisa da Santino.

In the fight scene when John Wick boards from the WTC Station on a Path Train, it goes to exchange place and next station clearly shows Exchange place station, whereas in the audio it prompts Rector Street. After Exchange place, next station should be Grove Street, again the announcement is wrong. <br>------------------------<br><br>Early in the beginning when John Wick is getting his car back and chased by the goons the back window of his car gets smashed at one point, and the front window gets a crack. Both windows are intact on later scenes. <br>------------------------<br><br>In the opening scene, a man on a motorcycle is being pursued by John Wick in a car. It stops when the motor cycle and rider crash into the passenger door of the car. John gets out of the car, walks around to the other side and the rider, cycle and debris are on the ground, but the passenger side of the car is visibly intact. <br>------------------------<br><br>At the beginning of the first car chase sequence, Wick's car has a New York back plate, but at the end of sequence, the car has a New Jersey front plate. <br>------------------------<br><br>Through the scene when John Wick reclaims his Mustang, the damage on the Mustang changes throughout the scenes. <br>------------------------<br><br>When John Wick is walking through the rain, everything around him is wet and he is surprisingly dry. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Ares grabs John Wick's butt (31 minutes in) she is searching him from the front but in the next frame she is standing behind him as Wick turns to look at her. <br>------------------------<br><br>In the opening scene, the helmet of the biker changes from a Shoei to an AGV of similar colour. <br>------------------------<br><br>Despite taking place only a few days after the events of the first movie, his previous wounds all appear to be healed, and the dog has grown much larger and has been well trained. <br>------------------------<br><br>As Ares and her team arrive at the "Reflections of the Soul" exhibition to extract Santino d'Antonio, their assault rifles' clear polymer magazines are clearly empty. <br>------------------------<br><br>Around 11 minutes John Wick is thrown flat on his back by the big Russian but in the next frame Wick is half way to a sitting position. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Winston sits down (29 minutes in) his hands are in his lap in the long shot but in the close up they are resting on the arms of the chair. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Wick walks into the Continental Hotel, his white shirt is still dirty as he has just walked from his house being blown up and burned down. However, after he leaves his dog at the front desk, when he arrives on the rooftop garden to see the manager he is wearing a clean shirt. <br>------------------------<br><br>When Cassian locates John Wick in New York City, he does so at Lincoln Center, where several of its well-known landmarks are plainly visible. Immediately thereafter, Cassian chases Wick into the subway -- except the station they're in is the new Santiago Calatrava-designed transit hub at the World Trade Center site. The two locales are roughly 80 blocks apart, but are depicted as being adjacent. <br>------------------------<br><br>When John is at the Continental Hotel downtown NYC, he goes upstairs to meet Winston on the rooftop garden. That rooftop garden is in midtown at Rockefeller Center. You can see the Citybank Tower just in the background. <br>------------------------<br><br>When John Wick is gun-fighting in the catacombs, his shotgun does not actually have a stove pipe malfunction. Instead the customized Benelli shotgun (customized by Taran Tactical) actually has a single shell carrier near the side of the ejection port. This is to make for a quick one round reload after the gun runs empty, much like John Wick demonstrated in the film. <br>------------------------<br><br>At 0:35:57 the Jewish man is saying to John Wick in Yiddish "zayt matzliah". It is translated "Happy hunting". But the real translation is "Good luck". <br>------------------------<br><br>As happens in most movies and TV shows, firearm suppressors are portrayed as 'silencers". Suppressors do not muffle a gunshot completely, they simply reduce (suppress) some of the cracking sound created as a bullet departs the barrel of a firearm in excess of the speed of sound. Every person in the station would be panicking as much as they would without the suppressors on the weapons. <br>------------------------<br><br>The Sommelier describes the AR-15 he gives John Wick as having an 11.5 inch barrel. It does not, as it clearly shows a length longer than 11.5 inches, and is rather a 14.5 inch barrel. <br>------------------------<br><br>There are several mistakes when Cassian chases John Wick though the subway station.<br><br>They both board a NY/NJ Path train, However, the train announcer says it is a "Broad Street bound C train", which it cannot be if it is a NY/NJ Path train. Also, the trains that terminate at Broad Street are the J and Z trains, not C.<br><br>The NY/NJ Path train only has stops in Manhattan between Christopher through 33rd Streets, and separately, directly to the World Trade Center. NY/NJ Path train does not stop at any of the stops mentioned by the train announcer (Canal Street; Rector Street; Broad Street); and the several stops mentioned as "next stops" do not follow each other: Rector Street does not follow Canal Street; Broad Street does not follow Rector Street. <br>------------------------<br><br>When the gang is unloading the taxis early in the film, we see a pallet loaded with cash, gold an the wooden boxes with all the gold on one side of the pallet. With such a narrow pallet jack centered under the pallet, it would be impossible to balance the load as depicted. <br>------------------------<br><br>At 35min 40sec John opens a suitcase in which is a Russian Federation passport, but the Cyrillic letters are misspelled. <br>------------------------<br><br>When John Wick is in the hall of mirrors, he attacks a gunman by jumping through a mirror from the back side of it. From that position, it could appear that John couldn't see the gunman. However, the mirrors are movable and it's possible that John looked through a gap in the mirrors, saw the gunman, then jumped through. <br>------------------------<br><br>After John and Cassian finish their drinks at the bar, Cassian pays for the drinks and leaves. John then encounters Ares sitting in a chair. Ares communicates with John through sign language. She has at least one error and that is her very last sign. She intends to sign the phrase "Round three". However, the sign for "three" is not performed by flashing your index finger, middle finger, and ring finger (that is the sign for the letter "W"). The sign for the number 3 is shown with your thumb, index and middle fingers.<br><br>She was not signing "Round Three" but was rather signing John's name (or more accurately his initials "JW" which is very common in sign language when both parties know who you are talking about in order to shorten the number of character signed) with the pinky making a swirl in the air for "J" and the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger for "W". And this corresponds perfectly with the on-screen sun-titles. <br>------------------------<br><br>When John gets into the Mustang early in the movie, you can see that the rear-view mirror is intact. However as he starts driving it around, it is no longer there. <br>------------------------<br><br>After the fight with Cassian in Rome, John's suit is relatively untouched when he's sitting at the bar, and in other scenes, the back is untouched too. He was shot multiple times whilst fleeing, and as the tailor explained and demonstrated, the body armor is inside the layers of the suit. When the tailor's assistant shoots at the dummies to demonstrate the armor, the cloth is ripped by each shot as the bullet tears the cloth and is stopped by the armor inside. John's suit should be thoroughly shredded by the time he gets back to the hotel. <br>------------------------<br><br>During the gunfight in the catacombs Wick's shotgun experiences a stovepipe malfunction where a fired shell is not properly ejected and sticks half out of the port. Despite this the weapon continues to function until Wick disposes of it. <br>------------------------<br><br>When John is driving his Mustang out of the chop-shop where it stored, he backs up into a bad guy. During the side view of the rear of the car hitting the bad guy, you see the bad guy rolling along the smooth top of the trunk, but once he's over that part, all other angles show a spoiler on the rear hatch. <br>------------------------<br><br>After Gianna's death in the pool/hot tub, she is first propped up on the edge, then floating freely, then propped up on the edge again. <br>------------------------<br><br>After Wick's house blows up, he is shown walking from there to the Continental in Downtown Manhattan. Besides being potentially a great distance (as where he is shown living is nowhere the close in suburbs along the New Jersey Palisades directly across the Hudson RIver from NYC) he is shown arriving into Manhattan on the Manhattan Bridge.<br><br>The only bridge leading from New Jersey to Manhattan is the George Washington Bridge which doesn't look like Manhattan Bridge. And besides the Manhattan Bridge spans the East River between Manhattan and Brooklyn, meaning that he would have had to walk AROUND the perimeter of Manhattan to cross it. <br>------------------------<br><br>
